Apple iPhone 5 expected features this September

Apple needs to address 10 areas against Android in order to stay on the scene. There was lot of rumors about iPhone 5 for last one year but finally on WWDC 2011 at least Apple announced release date that is going to ship this September.

According to many analysts, with emergence of Android 4.0 Google Nexus 4G, Apple should have to add some extra features in iPhone 5 to compete with Android.

Following are the key features that should be add to iPhone 5:

1. Apple iPhone so far lacking in 4G network support that should be included in iPhone 5.As AT&T set up 4G network support this year and September release date of iPhone 5 minute the chances of 4G network support.
2. Battery life is big concern of iPhone users that should be rectify on urgent basis in upcoming iPhone 5. Although Apple enhances the 40% battery life in iPhone 4 as compare to iPhone 3GS but still there is lot of room available to improve.
3. Apple introduced last year PowerVR SGX545 but iPhone 5 most probably will be equipped with PowerVR SGX543MP that is also included in iPad 2. But on the other hand iPhone 3GS and 4 have PowerVR SGX535.
4. After acquiring PA Semiconductor Apple designing and mixing their own CPU, like they installed 1GHz A5 Dual-Core processor in iPad 2. Company has to assure the presence of Dual-Core processor in next generation iPhone like Android do.
5. A new feature that becomes active with iOS 5 in iPhone 5 is Camera App that will be operated right from lock screen and volume buttons at side operated as shutter to take pictures.
6. There are plenty of Android Smartphones with larger screen and Apple likely to fix the larger screen in iPhone 5.
7. FaceTime feature works with Wi-Fi in iPhone 4 but in iOS 5 it become part of settings.
8. Apple is focusing on iCloud really hard and enriched feature regarding iTunes Music at $25 per year subscription will be included in iPhone 5.
9. Android Smartphones give more control to user for customizing home screen with widgets and Apple likely to give user same control with better notification system in iPhone 5.

10.  Apple is also working on Near Field Communication (NFC) technology that might be included in next iPhone 5. This features turn iPhone into mobile wallet and replacement of Bar code technology.

Let’s how many of above mentioned features Apple going to include in iPhone 5 but at the moment it is hour of need to put things right for the sake of survival.
